Rolling & Luck Guide

Rolling is the heart of Roll An Army: every unit in your army came out of a roll, and every upgrade to your luck changes what those rolls can hit. This guide covers the whole rolling system — the rarity ladder, what luck actually does, roll count, server-wide luck events and the Wheel — plus the multiplier thresholds real players hit before their first high-tier pulls.

The rarity ladder

Units roll from a ladder that, low to high, runs:

Common → Uncommon → Rare → Epic → Legendary → Mythic → Exotic → Divine → Secret → Mega → Godly → Omega

The lower half comes fast. The upper half is where luck budgets matter: the Secret badge confirms how many players have ever landed one, and gameplay footage shows the walls clearly — one dedicated player reported needing roughly a 60x multiplier before his first Secret, and around 80x before anything in the Omega range appeared. Those numbers are one player’s live experience rather than official odds, but they match the shape of the ladder: each tier past Secret costs a serious luck investment.

Above the named ladder sit two special labels: Limited (event-shop units like the Pirate Cannon) and one tier above Omega that was still unnamed in current footage.

What luck actually does

The Luck upgrade in your base shop multiplies your odds of landing higher rarity results on each roll. It stacks with:

  • Server luck events — footage shows server-wide x2 and x3 luck boosts appearing during the current event season (the official Weather Events window runs to September 10). When a boost pops, roll hard — everything you can afford, right then.
  • The Wheel — the spin wheel on your plot can land chance boosts (one footage pull shows a 2.5% style result). Free spins are worth taking; they are one of the few luck sources that cost no money.

Roll count: the upgrade people skip

Luck changes what you can hit; roll count changes how much you roll per session. The roll count upgrade expands how many units a single roll session produces (buy the max tiers as soon as income allows). Batch rolling matters because rare outcomes are per-roll chances — doubling rolls per session doubles your draws at the same luck multiplier, which is usually cheaper than buying the equivalent luck level.

A budget order for luck spending

  1. Keep money upgrades near their cap for your current rebirth level first — luck you cannot afford to use is wasted.
  2. Buy roll count tiers before deep luck levels; volume first, then odds.
  3. Push luck in bursts when a server x2/x3 event is live.
  4. Bank the rest for post-rebirth pushes — the rebirth guide explains how resets interact with your rolling budget.

Reading the Index

The in-game Index lists every unit grouped by rarity, including the Godly trio of Ares, Poseidon and Zeus. Use it as your pull checklist: it shows what is in the current pool and what you are still missing. Our units and rarity guide walks the full ladder with every named unit verified so far.
